Michael is a seasoned entrepreneur with 40+ years of professional deck construction and design experience, passionate about seeing all projects through to successful completion.

Michael Gueguen founded Roadrunner Decks with his son Byron and has been building decks throughout Central Oregon since 2012 and in Texas prior.

Michael's industry experience includes primarily deck construction and design, real estate, and physical education. Prior to launching Roadrunner Decks of Central Oregon, Mike founded another deck company in Central Texas which he led for 30 years before selling it and relocating to Bend.

Raised in Bretagne, France, Mike double-majored in Physics and Physical Education while attending college in Paris. He was honored to represent France on its Modern Pentathlon team for two Olympic games: Montreal, and Munich.

Michael now resides in Bend, Oregon with his wife, Libby, and their four dogs. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoor lifestyle, traveling, and spending time with his family. Mike has three children and three grandchildren.
